For the past few weeks, Brandon has been talking about “the city”. I’m not sure where he heard about it from, but he has been talking about skyscrapers and the “city train”. Well it just so happened that we had planned to go to a Blue Jays game, and so Brandon was thrilled when I told him we would be going to the city!. We parked at Yorkdale and took the subway down to Union, and this was by far the hilight of the trip. He just loved the subway and looked out the window at the tracks and for other trains the entire time. He also enjoyed looking out the windows at the Skywalk, which overlooked the Union Station tracks. He got to see a few GO trains and a few VIA trains pulling out of the station. He also really liked the CN Tower, particularly after dark when it was all lit up in red. He was least impressed with the Jays game. He did sit well throughout, but was not really interested in what was happening. He enjoyed a big carton of french fries though and liked it when ACE (the furry mascot) came around to our section.
