We had a garage sale today. It was our second one this summer. My friend Rose talked me into it and she brought a carload of stuff up to sell as well. I did better today than the last time. In June I made $18, but today we made around $40. Rose didn’t do too well, she made less than $10 for herself I think. It probably wasn’t a great weekend for it, as a lot of people are still away on summer vacation, but after all the effort of putting up signs and setting everything up, I don’t think I will do it again. My friend Marnie also came by with her baby and helped us out, so it was nice spending the day outside with friends nonetheless.
