Florida

We were lucky enough to go on a family vacation over March Break this year.  Kieran’s parents rented a condo in Fort Myers and invited us down to spend some time with them.  We had a great week enjoying the warm sunny weather and spending time together as a family.  We went on a few daytrips around the Fort Myers area (Sanibel Island, Lakes Regional Park, Bonita Beach, Fort Myers Beach), went mini-golfing a couple of times, dined out, went on lots of walks, did some shopping, and hung out by the pool that was just outside the condo.  It was nice travelling with “built in” babysitters, as Kieran and I were able to get out and spend some relaxing time on our own.  I think Grandma and Papa enjoyed spending lots of quality time with their grandkids as well. 

The kids did great on the car rides and plane rides (we flew out of Buffalo), and Brandon even got to visit the cockpit on the way home (but was too shy to say anything or take a picture).  Maelle and Brandon also had fun playing with their baby cousin Laurel and Auntie Allison who were also there while we were.
