Maelle had her 6 month check-up last week. She is growing like crazy and is still in the 99th percentile for height and has jumped 10 percentile points for her weight (now around 55th). She weighs 16lbs and is almost 28 inches long. Most of her 6-month clothing is on the small side for her and she is into 9 month and even some 12 month things now.
I have started her on solids already (since around 5 months) just sporadically, but the doc told me I should start being more consistent and introducing more foods now. So far Maelle has just had avocado and brown rice cereal. The baby food I'm giving her is all homemade from the summer, and the cereals are all organic. Here is "baby cutie pie" (as Brandon calls her) eating her avocado.

Aww she is so cute and growing so big! She was such a teeny one when you came for my shower!
