Our Book Club had its second meeting this week at my coworker's house. This month's read was The Poisonwood Bible.
It is about a missionary family that moves from the United States to the Congo, Africa in the 1960s, and the life they have there. When I first heard the description I thought that I really would not be interested in it, however it was such a great book, I couldn't put it down. What I really liked was how it was written....the family has four daughters, and each chapter was told from the perspective of a different daughter.I'm curious if any of my blog readers have read this book, and if so, what did you think of it?
Next month's read: Angry Housewives Eating Bonbons!
