Safe

I came across this article last week which talks about the safest and unsafest places to live in Canada, based on how regions compare with the national average crime rate. I was pleasantly surprised to see the Nottawasaga region (where we live) as the 5th safest region in Canada! York Region is #6 on the list.

I find it interesting that all of the "unsafest" cities are in Western Canada. I was surprised to see that Prince George tops the list, with a crime rate over 90% higher than the national average. I have a friend who lives in Prince George and she was not surprised to hear this, based on what she sees/hears around PG. Stay safe my little friend! :)
