Fall is always such a nice time of year, especially in the country. Last weekend we were at the cottage for Thanksgiving and enjoyed the beautiful fall colours around the Muskoka lakes. We got out for a couple of walks and I finally got to finish my next book club book while the kids were entertained by nonno and nonna and their zias.

This weekend we went to Chappell Farms in Barrie. It was our first time going, although it seems to be a fall "must do" up here. They have all kinds of activities for kids including farm animals you can feed, a big sand pit with toys, a corn maze, haystacks for climbing, a bouncy castle, magic shows, a dog show, a haunted house, and of course, a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch where you can pick your own pumpkins. It was a great day and it wore us all out!
