For some reason, we convinced ourselves that it would be a good idea to go camping for part of Kieran's 2 week summer vacation from work. So we (jam) packed up the car, bringing all our camping gear plus all our baby gear, and took about 6 hours to drive the 3 hour drive to Bruce Peninsula National Park. Brandon was unusually fussy and hungry, and waking up during the night, I think due to the 6-month growth spurt that babies go through. Aside from that though, and trying to keep Brandon quiet so he didn't disturb the entire campground, the weather cooperated and there were no bugs at all. We had a nice time and managed to go on a (slow & easy) hike, spend evenings sitting by the lake, walk around the port of Tobermory, and explore some other areas of the Bruce Peninsula as well. I really missed having our trailer though, and I think my camping days are probably over until we either a) get another trailer, or b) have no small babies in tow with us!

Beautiful Georgian Bay!

Sauble Falls Provincial Park
We also walked around Sauble Beach for a bit, and made some yummy purchases in Bruce County Nut & Fudge Co.
Trying out the swings at Owen Sound's waterfront
