Maelle is One!

I can’t believe my sweet little girl has turned one already!  The year has gone by so fast.  Maelle had her 12 month Healthy Baby visit at the Doctor’s this past week, and she is doing very well.  She is walking a bit, and cruising and crawling a lot.  She interacts and plays games, and she waves bye-bye.  She also says a couple of words, like “bye bye” (“ba ba”) and mama and dada when she is prompted.  She weighs 19.5 lbs and is around 32 inches long…still in the 99th percentile for height!  She got her three vaccines (MMR, Prevnar, and Menjugate)and cried only a little. 

Brandon still loves Maelle for the most part (unless she gets into his trains).  The other day he had a plastic heart and I told him he had to give it to someone he loves.  I asked him who he loves and he said “Maelle”.  So precious!
