Festivities!

A little belated, but....

We had a great holiday, and Brandon had a great first Christmas! We kicked things off with a 4 day trip to the USA for a little getaway and to do our Christmas shopping. The deals didn't seem to be as good this time, plus the dollar wasn't doing as well, but we still had a good time together as a family.

Over the rest of the break we had lots of company and did lots of visiting, despite being quarantined for a few days with an awful stomach bug that hit us all. It was great to spend lots of time with family and friends over the holidays.

Heading back to work was a bit of a drag this week. However, there are a few things to look forward to in the new year work-wise including 1) no more night school! and 2) going part-time (4 hours/day) beginning in February. I am looking forward to being able to spend more time with Brandon, better keeping up with my other job as a "domestic engineer", as well as going to the gym.
